Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jonify (“Jonify”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), password, and the role you sign up as (customer, agent, warehouse, or admin).

Shipment and sourcing information

To provide shipment tracking and sourcing services, we collect the information you submit when creating a shipment order or a request for quotation (RFQ), including product details, supplier information, delivery addresses, handling notes, budget, and delivery timelines. Agents submitting quotations provide supplier name, pricing, minimum order quantity, and production/shipping estimates.

Photos and files

With your permission, the app accesses your device’s camera and photo library so you can attach product photos, shipping-mark images, cargo photos, and warehouse condition reports to shipments and quotations.

Payment information

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Paystack or Flutterwave). We store payment status, amount, currency, and a provider transaction reference — we do not store your full card or bank account details on our servers.

Usage and device information

We may collect information about how you use the Service, and — if you enable push notifications — a device push token used to deliver notifications to your device.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • To provide the core Service: creating and tracking shipments, publishing and matching RFQs, processing quotations, and facilitating payments between customers, agents, and Jonify.
  • To send transactional notifications (status changes, SLA deadlines, payment confirmations) by email, push notification, or in-app.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including financial recordkeeping.

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Between platform participants. When you post an RFQ or create a shipment, relevant details are shared with the agents, warehouse staff, or admins involved in fulfilling it.
  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate the Service, such as our hosting provider, payment processor, file storage provider, email provider, and push notification provider. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jonify, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Shipment, order, and payment records are retained after account deletion as needed for financial recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, but are no longer linked to identifying account information once you delete your account (see Section 6).

5. Your choices

  • You can review and update your account information from the Profile screen.
  • You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
  • You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time in your device settings; doing so will limit your ability to attach photos to shipments and quotations.

6. Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app, or the equivalent setting on the web. When you delete your account:

  • Your name, email, and phone number are removed and can no longer be used to identify you.
  • You will no longer be able to sign in.
  • Shipment, order, and payment records tied to your account are retained in anonymized form, as required for financial and legal recordkeeping.

You can also request account deletion by emailing support@jonifyimports.com.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at support@jonifyimports.com.
